On April 10, 2010, a Haiti Relief - 5k Run & Walk will be hosted at Delaware Park in Buffalo to benefit disaster relief and recovery in Haiti.
Proceeds will go to an organization with Western New York roots: BonaResponds. BonaResponds, founded in response to Hurricane Katrina, is raising money to feed over 200,000 Haitians through the Food for Haiti Now initiative; a collection of volunteer groups working toward the same goal!
As the coordinator of this event, I invite you to share in the experience to help the people that were affected by this devastating phenomenon.
